Asif Mirza

Managing Director

Asif Mirza is a seasoned geoscience leader with more than 25 years of international experience in geoscience innovation, strategic planning, and global business development. He serves as the driving force behind the long-term vision and market positioning of Simcoe Geoscience Limited and Simcoe Geoscience Arabia Limited, overseeing product innovation, operational excellence, and expansion into emerging domestic and international markets.

Licensed as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG), Asif combines deep technical expertise with strategic foresight. His career spans collaborations with leading geoscience organizations and government agencies worldwide, managing projects from small-scale initiatives to multi-million-dollar exploration programs.

Asif’s technical specialization covers advanced geophysical technologies for shallow to deep earth exploration, including Magnetic, Radiometric, Electromagnetics, MT, CSAMT, and DC resistivity methods. He has authored more than 45 geophysical publications, contributing significantly to the advancement of applied geoscience.

His academic foundation includes a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Geology, Masters in Geophysics & Environmental Engineering from Sweden.
