Lhoucin, M. Sc., P. Geo. is a senior Geophysicist and project manager with over 20 years of experience specializing in applying a wide range of geophysical techniques for civil engineering, environmental investigations and mining exploration. Extensive expertise in non-invasive techniques such as seismic refraction, reflection, MASW, GPR, electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), electromagnetic surveys and borehole logging techniques.
He has the skills to support infrastructure development, geotechnical investigations, environmental site assessments, contamination mapping, groundwater and marine studies. His areas of expertise include exploration, both for precious and basic minerals, mainly using IP, Magnetics, Electromagnetic and MT.
Lhoucin worked across Canada, US and Africa. He has abilities for managing multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with stakeholders and interacting with local agencies.
Lhoucin joined Simcoe as Manager of Operations for the engineering division and will be supporting daily operations. In addition, he is developing business opportunities in Canada and abroad.
Lhoucin holds a M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics from l'Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, France. And a M. Sc in Computer Engineering from University of Orsay, Paris XI, France. Member of PGO, Ontario and OGQ, Quebec.
