Tony is an Exploration Geologist/Geophysicist and Project Manager with over 30 years of experience in domestic and international mineral exploration involving commodities such as diamonds, uranium, nickel, copper, gold, coal, and lithium. Tony has worked in Canada, Australia, Africa, China, and the Middle East.
His areas of expertise include planning and conducting ground and airborne geophysical surveys (magnetics, gravity, EM, IP, MT, and seismics). In addition to managing geophysical projects, Tony has experience with follow-up drilling and geological sampling programs, as well as overseeing remote field camps. He has been involved in all stages of project development, from greenfield prospecting through to final resource definition.
Tony’s experience includes a range of project management responsibilities such as personnel management, technical oversight, reporting, budgeting, accounting, contract negotiation, contractor supervision, and logistics.
He has managed multidisciplinary and large-scale exploration programs for mineral resource discovery and evaluation with mining companies including De Beers, Cameco, and Dominion Diamonds. Tony holds an MSc in Geology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
